It started off with TikTok, with Dylan and his grandmother creating positive videos for people during COVID. What began as simple moments of spreading kindness quickly grew into something much bigger, reaching over 1.6 million followers and 200 million views.

Through that journey, they realized they had the opportunity to create something meaningful beyond content. In December of 2023, Smile Clothing was born built on the same mission of spreading positivity and reminding people they matter.

Originally named Make You Smile, Dylan and Mama began experimenting with designs, learning everything from scratch building their website, growing their social media, and figuring out what it truly means to run a clothing brand.

It wasn’t easy. There were moments of uncertainty, challenges, and slow progress. But they kept showing up, kept learning, and kept pushing forward turning an idea into something real and meaningful.

At the heart of Smile Clothing is something deeply personal. Dylan and his grandmother are inspired by Dylan’s mother, his own struggles with mental health, and a shared mission to help others feel seen and supported.

From donating thousands to mental health charities to giving back to their local community, everything they do is rooted in making a difference.
